SDP Media is an independent publishing house founded by Silvana Dugandžić Penavić. Books, masterclasses, and stories on presence, beauty, heritage, and the inner architecture of a luminous life.
We publish in two languages — English and Croatian. We work across two landscapes: the inland karst of Hercegovina and Dalmacija, where the women carried fire and song from one generation to the next; and the warm coast of west Florida, where most of the writing is done.

Silvana Dugandžić Penavić is a Croatian-American author, entrepreneur, and publisher. She was born in 1965 and emigrated from Zagreb to New York in 1990, where she went on to earn an M.Sc. in Business Management from Stony Brook University. Her early background is in mathematics and physics.
In 2010 she founded Raul E® New York, a luxury beauty and fashion brand. In 2011 she opened a boutique on Ilica Street in Zagreb. In recent years she has turned her attention to publishing — the work that began as a quiet practice of writing for her own clarity, and has grown into a body of books and stories shared in two languages.
She is the mother of four and the grandmother of three. Her heritage is Hercegovinian-Dalmatian inland karst — on her father’s side from Vionica near Međugorje, on her mother’s side from Sinj.
She divides her year between Tarpon Springs, Florida and Zagreb, Croatia.
Some books arrive quietly. They are not written for everyone. They are written for the reader who notices.
SDP Media is a small house with a long memory. Our work spans three forms: bound books, taught masterclasses, and stories freely given. The thread that runs through all of them is the same — a respect for ancestral wisdom, a careful eye for beauty, and an unwillingness to rush what wants to take its time.
We are not for everyone. We are for the woman who reads slowly.
